This is my video footage of my visit to the Peterborough Model Railway Exhibition 2010 and the video is split into four parts to ease viewing for those that do not have 50mins or so of time free to watch the video in one clip. The event was held on the 16th and 17th of October 2010 and I attended the event on the 16th and this is part one of the video. Summary: This part of the video starts off with a small OO gauge elevator train which run parallel up and down a steep embankment. In this part of the video I have taken some stills of the new proposed Bachmann OO and N gauge range of products that are planned to be released in the future which includes a couple of shots of the new...

A brief update on the progress, of the model railway layout build. Next update will be done, once some more work has been done on the layout build. Layout is 00 scale, & is mainly DCC (digital) controlled. Due to work, family & other video / photo projects taking priority, layout construction is taking longer. It's worked on as & when time allows, but no time limit has been set on to complete the layout. Each section as completed, is being throughly tested. This is to show up any running problems etc, which can be then be easily sorted without causing problems later. Current target for this year, is to get all the upper baseboards in place & rest of the track lnstalled. Next...

This is my very first instructional video on building my model train layout. I know it is not perfect, I have things running out of the shot, and some other issues, but this was done with a Canon Digital still cam that takes videos. If I get a good response, I am going to do more details on how I build my layout. I learned a lot in this first video, and how to make the rest much better, plus I am shopping for a good digital camera to make them oh so sweet! This video is about how to prepare and wire your model train layout above the main board. A lot of people wire their layout below the main board, and they crawl under it, but I cannot since I am in a wheelchair. So I have wired this on...

Ok. Here is a series on Layout design and construction which draws from my experience over the years. I hope you find the information useful for building your model railroad. There'll be more videos to come over the next few weeks. FYI: I've put this series on hold while I figure out how work out some encoding issues on my desktop capture videos. In addition I want to re-think my approach to this series.

Here is second part of the three part video from the Warley Model Railway Exhibition event that was held on the 21st and 22nd of November 2009 at Birmingham NEC. All footage in this video was filmed on the 21/11/2009 and the video starts off with the Bachmann/Graham Farish N gauge layout that was shown on the Bachmann Stall but unfortunately the locomotives were not running for some odd reason. This is probably because there was no power available to the tracks or the controller cut off, but the locomotives seen on that layout was a Class 47 in BR Blue and a Class 66 that is 66152 in DB Schenker Livery (I am seeking the Dapol version for my layout). Next up we have a British Classic...

Here is the second part of the Peterborough Model Railway Exhibition 2010 video of the event that I attended on the 16th of October 2010. Summary: This part carries onwards from Part 1 and features "The Lane" in N gauge, Two T scale layouts, Timpdon Lake Railway in G gauge and "Owen Street" in OO gauge. The Lane: This is an N scale layout which stars the Bachmann Graham Farish Class 60 in Mainline livery numbered as 60078 being marshalled into the locomotive yard and also followed up by a Dapol Class 66 in Freightliner livery. Two unnamed T Scale Layouts: The first two stills should a rather complex but impressive layout that has been built inside an old guitar case with a six-car JR Series...

Uploaded with original audio and a clip that I missed out on the earlier version I uploaded back in 2008. Its that time again and its my second year running I have attended the Warley MRC which is held at Birmingham NEC. In the beginning of this video you will see the all new HST in action on the large Model Layout on the Hornby stand in Virgin livery and also there was the all-new Class 153 model present in the depot on the same Layout as well as some footage taken from the new Northern Rail Class 156 and a Steam Express running in the opposite direction. Also there was the smaller layout on the Hornby stand demonstrating their DCC range which featured their all new Duchess steam...

This is the second part of the footage from the Peterborough Model Railway Exhibition. First of all, there are some stills of the EM gauge track which you can buy in kits with a small diorama of a yard that was used to show this super detailed track in action. The rolling stock that was used was a Bachmann Class 08 in Blue livery and a Heljan Class 47 in BR Railfreight livery. After that I briefly film a T Gauge layout which is a Fictional Japanese layout which uses the Series 103 units in the Osaka Loop Line (Orange), Kansai Line (Green) Keio Line (Yellow) and the Tohoku Line (Blue) liveries. The scale of T-gauge is either 1:350 scale or 1:400 scale. Next is a short video of the Triang...
